DR TOHEED NASIR

Dr Toheed Nasir approached us very early in the process of starting his squat practice. We worked together to plan the project which initially included confirming the location of the practice. Considering for the future development phases of the practice was key. Whilst we initially installed 2 surgeries on the ground floor, the premises has additional floors, giving potential for a further 6 surgeries! The phases of the project were discussed from an early stage, to ensure future proofing.

The practice is on a commercial business park. Whilst this is uncommon, commercial units offer a range of benefits such as parking, spacious internals, room for expansion, and (generally) lower fit-out costs. The compromise with the lack of a ‘shop-front’ was carefully considered and mitigated with Toheed’s strategy of growing the practice through a comprehensive digital marketing campaign.

The design strategy was to create surgeries that were simple, minimalistic, and quality. In each surgery, there was feature wall matched to the chair cushion fabric to give it a pop of colour.

We worked closely with Toheed’s fit-out contractors which involved several site meetings with our project management team.

With a team who weren’t experienced with dental fit-out, technical drawings and service plans had to be carefully explained and communication kept tight.

Smooth project delivery relies on all parties working together as a team with a common objective.
