DESIGN & PLANNING

Dr Sara Khan was relocating premises and contacted Anglian Dental to help design and plan the project. It was a very complicated practice design as the premises proposed was split into two and a very irregular shape. This took several weeks to planning to achieve a workable layout design. We had to work hard to utilise the natural light across the frontage.

We completed technical designs, building control and visualisations to help turn a concept into a reality.

We designed a four-surgery practice with two decon rooms, full DDA compliance and the ability to move two existing surgeries from the existing practice.

The finished result is exceptional and the practice flows very well.

BUILDING WORKS

Anglian Dental completed all the building works from rip-out, stud partitions, through to relocating existing AC units and all decorations. The project was challenging due to the busy Chiswick high street location and the unusual shape of the building.

We phased the project carefully to ensure the new site had working surgeries prepared and was ready for use before closing down the existing site and moving the existing equipment across.
The project took 16 weeks in total to practical completion.

A bespoke ‘corian’ and panelled reception desk was installed with feature lighting. Coupled with bespoke bench seating and herringbone flooring, the reception and communal areas have a lovely calming ‘air’ to them.

EQUIPMENT & CABINETRY

Two new Belmont Eurus S6 knee break chairs were needed due to the compact nature of the surgeries but also due to being highly functional. A showroom visit was completed to discuss all options.

A Belmont Voyager III and a Fedesa chair were relocated from the old practice.

All surgeries had new Anglian Dental ‘Klasse’ cabinetry with solid surface worktops and sinks for a premium look and for durability.

Split plant systems were utilised to ensure that in the event of machine servicing or failure, that there would still be some operational surgeries.
