DESIGN & PLANNING
Dr Riaz Hassan approached us with the challenge to refurbish two old, tired surgeries on completion of the purchase of the new practice.
The equipment was outdated and the working ergonomics poor.
To improve this, we conducted several design meetings, showroom visits and multiple drawings revisions to assist Riaz in optimising the surgery space and utilising the natural light with the rooms.
BUILDING WORKS
Our team worked in two phases, first surgery 2, then surgery 1. This minimised the disruption to the practice and allowed us to keep at least one surgery operational during the refurb. We used all our own tradesmen and took complete control of the project with Steve our project manager ensuring smooth delivery and excellent communications. We completed all works in the rooms, strip-out, plumbing, electrics, flooring, decorations, joinery and lead-lining where necessary. Gerflor medical grade flooring was supplied and installed throughout, giving a high quality, durable finish. Our turnkey solution allowed Riaz to stay focused on clinical dentistry and not have to worry about the day-to-day project management.
EQUIPMENT & CABINETRY
After a visit to the showroom, Dr Hassan opted for a Belmont Eurus S6 kneebreak package for surgery 1.
Surgery 2 was graced with a Belmont Eurus S8 package and a Belmont 097 x-ray.
Both surgeries were furnished with Anglian Dental Klasse cabinetry, with solid surface worktops and corian sinks.
