PROJECT SCOPE
Dr Loven Ganeswaran approached us to work together on setting up Sunninghill Clinic, a new practice located in the village of Sunninghill in Berkshire.
The project was to take place in two phases, with the first involving the ground and first floor of the building next door to Dr Ganeswaran’s existing practice. The second phase will involve an extension to add a further 5 surgeries.
The finished result of phase one of Sunninghill clinic, is a practice which prioritises patient experience making it as calm and quiet as possible.
DESIGN & PLANNING
We worked to turn the concept for Sunninghill Clinic into a reality, talking through the considerations of surgery layout design, ergonomics and creating technical designs to bring our ideas to life.
We designed and equipped 3 surgeries as part of phase one of the project.
The practice design was complete with a decontamination room and one central external plant hut in the rear courtyard of the practice.
EQUIPMENT & CABINETRY
State of the art, high quality equipment and cabinetry was installed throughout. One surgery was equipped with a Belmont Eurus S8 and two surgeries with a Eurus S6 chair in ‘Papyrus’ luxury stitched ultra-soft upholstery as well as Belmont Belray II X-rays in each surgery.
A Cattani AC400 compressor and Turbo Smart suction pumps were chosen for their reliability. W&H decontamination equipment was chosen for its high quality including Lara and Lisa sterilisers, Thed+ washer disinfector and Assistina Twin handpiece oiler.
PROJECT PARTNERS
The Sunninghill Clinic project was a collaborative delivery. The architectural design was created by Vita Architecture, ensuring a thoughtful layout and environment tailored to both patients and clinicians. Construction and build delivery were managed by Excel Building Contractors, bringing the designs to life on site.
