DESIGN & PLANNING
Situated within a new commercial development which bridges Hackney Wick and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, just a stones’ throw from the Copper Box Arena, SKON Dental is a beautifully designed, brand-new squat practice. The vision for SKON Dental came from Dr Kripa Desai who was looking to create a Scandinavian-inspired, calm and welcoming, 3 surgery practice.
BUILDING WORKS
A new-build, ground floor, shell scheme of around 95sq metres was transformed into a eco-conscious, functional practice with space for 3 surgeries, decontamination room and plant room. Planning involved liaison with a contractor team who were part of the new build development. We worked closely with them to ensure the project was delivered and services were carefully co-ordinated.
EQUIPMENT & CABINETRY
Two surgeries were initially fitted out by our expert team of dental engineers and another ready for future expansion, with Surgery 1 being a left-handed surgery. Belmont Voyager III chairs in ‘Light Grey’ upholstery, Belmont 097 X-rays and W&H Lara steriliser were chosen for their high-quality. A Cattani AC300Q oil free compressor and Cattani Turbo Smart suction pump were chosen for their reliability.
