About the role

You’ll be part of a skilled service team, responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of dental equipment and systems. No two days are the same as you’ll travel to different sites, solve technical issues and make sure surgeries stay operational.

 

While most work will be regional, some travel across the wider area will be needed.

 

What is Dental Engineering?

Dental engineering combines mechanical, electrical and plumbing skills to install and maintain dental surgeries and equipment. You’ll work on everything from dental chairs and compressors to X-ray units and suction systems, keeping practices safe, compliant and ready to treat patients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on dental equipment
  • Install and commission new systems
  • Complete accurate service reports and documentation
  • Provide technical support and excellent customer service
  • Take part in ongoing training and development

 

About You:

  • Background in electrical, mechanical or plumbing trades (apprenticeship or NVQ preferred)
  • Logical, hands-on problem solver
  • Able to work independently and manage your own schedule
  • Good communication and customer-facing skills
