Upon reaching out to Anglian Dental, Dr Paresh Patel sought to expand his practice by converting the recently acquired first floor above his existing 2 surgery practice.
Converting the first floor, formerly bedrooms, into an additional 2 surgeries, decon room and staff room needed to be a seamless process given the need to maintain Dr Patel’s busy schedule without disruption.
BUILDING WORKS
The project plan was designed around a 12 week schedule of works.
We were able to carry out the building works and integrate the two floors of the practice, ensuring minimal interference with ongoing operations including removing an existing WC and knocking through a wall on the first floor to open out the patient waiting area.
EQUIPMENT & CABINETRY
Solid surface cabinetry and Corian sinks were installed in both surgeries. They were equipped with KaVo 1058 treament units in ‘Midnight Blue’ and ‘Graphite’ Relaxline upholstery as well as Belmont 097W Belray II wall-mounted x-rays.
A Durr Duo compressor and Durr VSA300S suction unit were chosen for their reliability. Feature lighting was used to great effect throughout the new stairway to the upper floor.
