DESIGN & PLANNING
We were approached by an existing customer of ours to help with their practice relocation and expansion project in the centre of historic Colchester.
The project involved moving 4 surgeries and their associated equipment from their original site and adding in 3 new surgeries.
The scope of the project included a full refurbishment of a listed building which was formerly a solicitor’s office, new cabinetry, flooring, equipment and reception area.
BUILDING WORKS
The practice design was complete with a reception & waiting area, staffroom, WC’s, Decon, CBCT, TCO and 7 surgeries with scope for growth provided by 2 rooms for 2 further surgeries. The build and fit-out was due to be completed within a 3 month timescale.
Communication was vital to the success of the project. Once the project delivery phase began, regular meetings took place to ensure decisions were made when appropriate to keep everything on track. We were delighted to project manage the build, equipment and cabinetry installation using our own team of tradesmen throughout and our expert team of dental engineers.
EQUIPMENT & CABINETRY
High quality equipment and cabinetry was installed throughout.
Surgeries were equipped with Belmont Voyager III chairs in elegant ‘Ash Grey’ upholstery as well as Belmont 097W Belray II wall-mounted x-rays.
A Durr Trio compressor and Durr VSA300S suction units were chosen for their reliability. A bespoke solid surface reception desk was designed and installed by our joinery team.
