DESIGN & PLANNING
Guildhall Dental Practice needed additional surgical space with the impressive current premises at capacity. An ideal premises located very close to the existing practice was found and explored. The challenge was to design a satellite practice while utilising the current facilities where appropriate. A similar approach was taken for the design. Some key design features were lifted from the existing practice but were significantly enhanced to create a more boutique luxurious environment. The site was surveyed and some unnecessary boxing-in was discovered which gave us more space than was originally realised. We worked through a design process to come up with an agreed general arrangement plan while exploring the boundaries of various interior design concepts. A series of visualisations were produced to help work through this process and ultimately decide what was to be completed.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
A detailed scope and schedule of works was produced and with contingencies, the project ran on schedule and on budget.
Close liaison and communication, along with regular site visits were key to ensure the project was delivered smoothly.
