DR JAMES METCALF

108 DENTAL SURGERY

“I had a great experience with Anglian Dental, for a basement room surgery conversion. They were professional, approachable and on time and budget. The results were spectacular! I’d would highly recommend them.”

DESIGN & PLANNING

We were contacted by Dr James Metcalf to turn an existing chiropody room into a surgery due to expansion plans of the practice.

The surgery being in a basement led to challenges with access and limited ceiling height. We proposed a design that was sympathetic to the building, but minimally disruptive to the surgery and very functional.

The surgery had a small decontamination room, as well as plenty of storage in the cabinetry.

We installed a new suction pump and compressor system in an external plant hut to prevent noises and smells within the rooms.

BUILDING WORKS

Anglian Dental completed all the building works from strip-out right through to electrics, plumbing and decorations. By managing the whole project, we allowed Dr Metcalf to focus on his clinical dentistry and not have to worry about the day-to-day running of the project.

Our team delivered the project within 4 weeks from start to finish. Working in an existing practice meant we had to be sympathetic with noise, dust, deliveries and services.

This is always a challenge but careful liaison and communication with the practice made the project seamless.

EQUIPMENT & CABINETRY

The versatile and reliable Belmont Voyager III chair was installed, and paired with a Belmont 097 x-ray.

Both equipment renowned for their ease of use and functionality.

Durr VSA300S suction pump and Cattani compressor power the surgery.

Premium quality Anglian Dental ‘Klasse’ cabinetry with solid surface worktops and sinks are installed.
