DENTAL SURGERY DESIGN
Refresh Dental surgery is based in Twickenham and owned and run by Dr Mide Ojo.
Dr Mide Ojo has worked with Anglian Dental for many years and approached us to design, build and install a brand new surgery from scratch. We worked closely with Dr Ojo to plan and create his surgery which is designed specifically to relax his patients and not ‘look like a dental surgery’.
BUILDING WORK
Anglian Dental completely transformed this stunning surgery from a completely empty shell.
We completed the whole project from start to finish in just 4 weeks at the height of lockdown, creating initial drawings and 3D design visuals and liaising via Zoom video calls to maintain contact and make sure Dr Ojo’s visions became a reality.
We used our interior design team to get the most out of the space and our own tradesmen for the building, flooring, electrics, plumbing, fit-out and installation.
Another aspect of Dr Ojo’s design brief was to make sure the surgery did not look surgical; putting his patients at ease. We added wood panelling to the back of the surgery to add another dimension to the room, chairs and a private waiting room to ensure patients are comfortable.
EQUIPMENT AND CABINETRY
A Belmont Cleo II E chair with padded luxury upholstery was chosen due to its reliability and comfort.
Bespoke cabinetry was installed in both matte black and grey which are all touch to open and handle-free. The cabinetry was also installed with LED shadow lighting underneath. A patient entertainment screen was added to the ceiling above the chair to keep nervous patients calm and focused during their appointments.
